Delivery Driver Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving company refrigerated van to deliver produce to retail stores and residential customers in the Portland Metro and Columbia Gorge areas
- Prepare orders for delivery to match invoices. Must be detail oriented.
- Fueling delivery van
- Repetitive lifting of up to 25 lbs
- Safe and timely delivery of produce to our customers using pre-determined routes
- Provide excellent service to customers and respond to questions and complaints positively and professionally, relay questions and complaints to management.
- Arriving to work on time. 6 am start depending on the day.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Class C (personal vehicle) driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 1 speeding ticket in last 3 years and no major incidents). A driving record will be pulled for insurance purposes.
- 5+ years of vehicle driving experience
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driver experience
- Hard working
- Positive Attitude
- Smart Phone for using Google Maps
- Knowledge of Portland Metro highways and Columbia Gorge areas
JOB TYPE:
- Part-time
PAY RATE:
- $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
SCHEDULE:
- Tuesday (6 am – 4:30 pm) 10 hour shift
- Wednesday (11 am – 7pm) 8 hour shift
(Subject to change times but not days)
WORK LOCATION:
- Pickup van and produce for delivery in Carson, WA and delivery to Portland Metro and Columbia Gorge areas, returning to Carson, WA at end of shift.
